#3 Important Things to Develop: Patience, Determination, and Power to Accommodate

Determinedness is the quality that will help you go over the wall of negative ideas so that you may think positively and achieve whatever it is that you want. It comes from within, and patience is its partner. Knowing that nothing stays the same and that everything will eventually change teaches you to wait instead of pushing forward and to enjoy the game of life.

We place a high priority on maintaining our physical wellness.

We feed it every day with the nutrition that keeps us strong. The physical energy is replenished thanks to this, but we don’t give the mind as much attention. To continuously bring enjoyment to oneself is true sustenance. When my mind is content, I immediately feel energized all the time. To achieve this, I must ensure that I treat myself to something joyful each day.

Positive Thoughts that Emerge From Your Values

Positive thoughts emerge from your values and may be experienced as:

  • Confidence
  • Contentment
  • Cooperation
  • Enthusiasm
  • Generosity
  • Happiness
  • Harmony
  • Honesty
  • Hope
  • Love
  • Mercy
  • Peace
  • Respect
  • Solidarity
  • Tolerance
  • Trust

Let’s examine some illustrations of positive thoughts (concerning the above values):

  • Happiness: “Happiness raises the spirit of whoever possesses it, and brings out a smile in others.”
  • Love: “Be as enthusiastic with the success of others as you are with your own.”
  • Honesty: “If I am honest in all my actions, I will never be afraid.”
  • Respect: “The only way of receiving respect is to give it first.”
  • Mercy: “Do not lose hope in those that have lost hope.”

The Power to Accommodate

The ability to accommodate is closely related to the power of tolerance. It includes having a heart that is so big and giving that I am able to rise above all character and personality differences when interacting with other soul actors because I am aware that every actor in the enormous drama of existence has a distinct personality, contribution, and role to play.

Accommodation welcomes and cherishes differences, noticing them and finally absorbing them in my love, as an ocean absorbs the rivers that flow into it, whereas tolerance heals wounds and removes hurt.

I need to be aware of God as the Ocean of Love, the Ocean of Wisdom, and myself as the master Ocean of Love as I go about doing my part as a river. The goodness of all other soul actors becomes apparent to me quite naturally when I enter this consciousness through meditation, and it requires no effort on my part to move over disagreement and conflicts of opinion.

I develop into the Supreme Soul, who is an Ocean of Love, like my father. Due to his spiritual understanding that every soul’s original nature is love and that the present nature is only an artificial one that has been acquired during the process of birth and rebirth, my father sees every actor in this world drama as his child and has the same amount of love for each of them (even though they have different personalities and roles). In a similar way, I also believe myself to be a master of the Ocean of Love and consider all souls to be my brothers, absorbing their various characteristics. I may cultivate this capacity for accommodation within myself through regular meditation.

Message for the day

To forgive is to give correction.

What it tells you: Therefore, even when offering corrections, there is no expression of unpleasant emotions. And though only a few words are used, they are quite powerful. So there are no negative feelings expressed even while giving correction. And the words that are used are few but prove to be very effective.

What you should experience: I can let go of the weight of unproductive and negative thoughts when I master the art of forgiving. As a result, it is never difficult to correct someone when it is necessary. Even when beliefs or personalities don’t align, the mind, which is free from past attitudes, fosters peace in relationships.
