From Scarcity To Abundance
“The mind is everything, what you believe, you become” is one of my favorite sayings.
So very true. Success in business, athletics, and life, in general, depends on one’s mindset. Additionally, quantitative evidence supports this.
So, how can we make the shift from a scarcity to an abundance mindset?
Today, I’m going to explain 5 steps that will change your scarcity mindset into an abundance mindset.
#1 Keep your attention on what you already have
You may be thinking things like, “There aren’t enough good jobs out there,” “I don’t have enough transferrable abilities,” or “Who am I kidding, there’s too much competition” if you’ve been considering a career shift but haven’t made the move.
All of these concepts are built on lack, on what you don’t have. A mindset of scarcity perceives constraints rather than possibilities.
Think instead, “Wow, I have 25 years of marketing knowledge, which will be a major asset if I decide to start a business,” or “Over the last 10 years, I’ve built wonderful contacts that will be vital when I start networking for my next job.”
Instead of wallowing in self-pity if you’ve recently been laid off, consider how wonderful it is to have the time (and possibly the money if you received a severance package) to think about what you REALLY want to do with the rest of your life.
#2 Be in the company of those who view life as plenty
Do you know those individuals who are consistently upbeat and see the glass as half-full as opposed to half-empty?
Find them, then begin interacting with them.
If you are surrounded by people who view resources as scarce, you will need to modify your attitude in order to pursue a different line of work.
According to Tony Robbins, “A person’s life quality is frequently a direct reflection of the expectations of their social group.”
Ask yourself if the individuals you interact with inspire you. If not, you might need to look for others who are leading similar lives.

#3 Establish win-win scenarios
A scarcity mindset holds the idea that everyone loses when one person succeeds. To overcome this way of thinking, make an effort to generate win-win situations in your life.
Find strategies to make both parties feel more successful and optimistic about the relationship as they split ways. Do this in your personal and professional life, if possible.
This frequently entails listening without bias or censorship, comprehending fully what a win-win means for both of you, and generating numerous potential solutions till one that satisfies both of you.
#4 Make gratitude a part of everyday living
You’ll always have more if you look at what you have in life, according to Oprah Winfrey.
You’ll never have enough if you focus on your lack in life. It’s incredibly challenging to experience both fear and gratitude at the same moment.
One of the most widely accepted strategies for enhancing one’s general well-being is the practice of gratitude.
Writing down five things each day for which you are grateful is one method to put this into practice. You might even start a gratitude diary if you’re really committed to making this practice a part of your life.
Do not forget to list even the most basic things that you may take for granted, such as breathing fresh air or sleeping on a good mattress.

#5 Develop the ability to see all the options
You can see more in your life with an abundant perspective, including more alternatives, selections, and resources.
In a remarkable Harvard study, it was shown that when we pay intense attention to one thing, it can cause us to entirely miss other opportunities that are there in front of us.
If your mindset is “I can’t do it” or “it’s impossible,” then any other thoughts that contradict that will be tossed out since the brain can only process so much information at once.
Start training your mind to loosen its focus and create an expanded awareness.
Ask yourself if you had all the time and money in the world and you knew you couldn’t fail, what would you be doing?
Questions like that will help to open your mind up to what’s possible.
Ultimately, just remember what you believe is what you receive.
Very nicely narrated.Nature has in abundance for everyone. But because of our greed we think that we don’t have enough what is required. Once we understand the law of abundance ,we will not worry for anything.
