Hiring
The interview question that puts you on the spot out of all the others is, “Why should we hire you?”
This is a crucial part of the interview where you get the chance to sell yourself and make your case for why you should be hired.
You run the risk of offering a generic response if you are caught unprepared, which will make them forget about you as soon as you leave the room.
There’s no need to feel the whole pressure just yet, though. Today, I’ll give 5 5 successful answer examples that will help you understand how you should prepare yourself.
#1 Best Response: Why Should We Hire You Sample: Sales Rep
“I believe you are searching for a self-employed sales professional with a proven track record.
One who can close transactions with large accounts, handle prolonged sales cycles, develop relationships with several decision-makers, and also add some structure to the process.
I was able to close numerous 5-figure deals in my previous position at [COMPANY 1], where I worked for three years, maintaining those relationships over time.
Prior to that, I worked for [COMPANY 2], where I was responsible for bringing in transactions for 20+ seats in the finance sector.
Additionally, I am aware that your CEO is a strong supporter of using Notion to organize the team and add structure. As a Notion power user who has created a sales database for the team with the greatest outreach templates, multichannel sequences, LinkedIn post frameworks, and more,
I share her beliefs. I’d be overjoyed to apply the same mindset to this position.”

“I have the background and disposition to succeed in this production assistant role.
I’ve worked in television production for about two years now, including two summers as an intern at The Ellen Show, where I learned about all facets of the industry and put in so much effort the first summer that they asked me back for a second and offered me more roles.
I have been working part-time for a production firm during my senior year at UC San Diego, where I have primarily held the position of assistant but have lately had the opportunity to assist with editing a number of episodes.
I’m known for getting things done and doing them with a smile. :-)”
